California Secretary of State Alex Padilla will speak to Fresno State students and invited guests about the future of voting in California, 12:45 p.m., Wed., Sept 16 at the Vintage Room in the University Center at Fresno State.
Hosted by the Kenneth L. Maddy Institute, the private event starts with lunch at noon, followed by remarks from Sec. Padilla at 12:45 p.m.
Fresno State President Joseph I. Castro will be in attendance, and Maddy Institute Executive Director Mark Keppler will moderate a Q&A session after the Secretary’s presentation.
At 2 p.m. the Secretary will be available for brief one-on-one interviews with the media.
