A student video contest run by the California Pluralism Project at Fresno State plans to award $12,500 for submissions on the theme “my diverse California religious experience.” Videos should be three to nine minutes long and detail students’ personal histories and accounts related to the theme. The deadline to enter is Tuesday, Dec. 15. Contest details and entry form are online at www.californiapluralism.org/page/video-contest. The California Pluralism Project is supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities and provides educators free online lessons on civics and religious literacy.
