Due to the Komen Race for the Cure on Saturday, Oct. 24, the Fresno State Police Department advises motorists to plan for extra travel time when visiting campus. Beginning at 6 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, Barstow Avenue, between Cedar and Woodrow avenues, will be converted into a one-way westbound street directed toward Cedar. Students and employees normally arriving to campus via Barstow Avenue are encouraged to enter campus via Shaw Avenue. Woodrow Avenue will be closed between Barstow Avenue and Matoian Way. Students and employees arriving from the south side of campus are encouraged to enter via Maple or Barton avenues. Maple Avenue and portions of San Ramon Avenue will be closed between lots P6 and P17. Portions of Campus Drive and Jackson Avenue will also be closed from San Ramon to Barstow. Please follow the direction of Fresno State Police Department personnel, roadway signage and equipment. All roadway restrictions will be lifted by noon. NOTE: Those arriving for the La Feria de Educacion college fair that begins at 11 a.m. Saturday — parking is in Lot P20 on Barstow, which will be one-way, westbound, until noon so be advised to enter from Chestnut .
