The six-year graduation rate for students who entered in fall 2009 has increased nearly 10 percent compared to cohorts who entered in fall 2007, according to a report released by Fresno State’s Office of Institutional Effectiveness. The six-year graduation rate for full-time, first-time freshman cohorts in fall 2009 were 58.4 percent, compared to 48.6 percent in fall 2007. These are the highest rates among the past six entering cohorts. The report also shows that 77.6 percent of new, undergraduate transfer cohorts from fall 2009 graduated in six years, compared to 72.7 percent from fall 2007.
