Fresno State’s CineCulture film series will screen “After the Rain” at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, in the Peters Education Center Auditorium (west of Save Mart Center in the Student Recreation Center). In 1999, Japanese film director Akira Kurosawa wrote this Japanese and French film based on a true experience. It won best film at the Japan Academy Prize ceremony. All CineCulture events on campus are free and open to the public. Parking is free on weekends and after 4 p.m. on Fridays.
