Fresno State’s Army ROTC Bulldog Battalion will perform color guard duty for the Oakland Raiders home game against the Kansas City Chiefs at O.co Coliseum on Sunday, Dec. 6. Kickoff is 1:05 p.m. with the presentation and the National Anthem about five minutes prior. The five-cadet detail, led by Army Master Sergeant (MSG) Jose Quijas, senior military instructor for Fresno State’s Army ROTC Program, will be accompanied by 44 fellow cadets and program leaders who will be in the stands to observe the presentation and enjoy the NFL rivalry game. After the game, the contingent will move to the field to meet with Teddy Woods, a representative of non-profit Care Valley Foundation. Woods is a Fresno State employee who coordinated the Army ROTC appearance and arranged players for photos to commemorate the event.
