The Society for Armenian Studies has released Volume 24 of the Journal of the Society for Armenian Studies, edited by Dr. Sergio La Porta, the Haig and Isabel Berberian Professor in the Armenian Studies Program at Fresno State. The journal addresses topics in art history, Armenian genocide, Armenian identity and contemporary church history. Dr. Dickran Kouymjian, Berberian Chair of Armenian Studies emeritus, also contributed with an examination of the book illuminations of book artist Grigor Marzvanec‘I as well as a review essay on the recently published catalog of the Alex and Marie Manoogian Museum in Detroit. The Journal of the Society for Armenian Studies is a peer-reviewed journal and is published annually.
