Bulldogs football coach Tim DeRuyter will lead a contingent of coaches who will greet donors to The Big Fresno Fair’s Feed the Need Food Drive from 11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21 at the Bulldog Stadium Red Lot (Cedar and Barstow). The food drive runs 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a free admission ticket to the Fair will be given to those who donate 12 or more cans of food (one ticket per person, limit two per car). Coach DeRuyter is scheduled to be on hand following practice for this weekend’s matchup against Tulsa (Sept. 24 – game time 1:30 p.m.). On Wednesday, DeRuyter will join his wife Kara and Fresno State First Lady Mary Castro who will be there beginning at 9:30 a.m. Victor E. Bulldog III will also greet donors from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., including during a live broadcast by co-sponsor CBS47 (5 to 7 a.m.). Also appearing at the drive will be soccer coach Brian Zwaschka and lacrosse coach Jessica Giglio (6:35 am for the broadcast); tennis coach Ryan Stotland and baseball coach Mike Batesole (7:25 a.m.) and new wrestling coach Troy Steiner (8:55 a.m.).
