The Mayoral Candidate Forum for Fresno State students featuring Fresno mayoral hopefuls Lee Brand and Henry R. Perea will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, in the North Gym (Room 118).
Presented by Associated Students, Inc., the event is geared toward student issues and interests, and faculty and staff participation is encouraged with a Q-and-A period.
Brand is a member of the Fresno City Council and represents District 6, which encompasses most of northeast Fresno. Perea, a former Fresno City councilman, represents District 3 in the Fresno County Board of Supervisors.
The forum will be moderated by Dr. Thomas Holyoke, Fresno State political science professor. Free pizza will be available for students.
The voter registration deadline for the Nov. 8 election is Oct. 24.
