Valley student leaders will converge at the fourth annual Central Valley Student Leadership Summit from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, at the Clovis Veterans Memorial District. Presented by Fresno State’s Associated Students, Inc., the summit will be attended by student government representatives from community colleges, private colleges and universities throughout the Valley to discuss legislation, wellness, Central Valley demographics and various higher education issues. The summit will feature Fresno State President Joseph I. Castro; Lorenzo Rios, CEO of Clovis Veteran’s Memorial District; and Richard Alonso Lazaro, CEO of Nemesis Sports Academy.
