Fresno State’s Speech and Hearing Clinic will offer free hearing assessments to the public beginning Jan. 30 at the Audiology Clinic on campus (location details provided upon registration). The two-hour evaluations test for hearing loss, as well as the type and severity of any loss identified. Appointments must be made in advance by completing a case history form, available online. Upon approval, an appointment can be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited availability during the semester. Parking permits are available for confirmed appointments only. Clients must be ages 3 years and older. The comprehensive evaluations are completed by graduate students in the Department of Communicative Sciences and Deaf Studies who are supervised by licensed and nationally certified audiologists. INFO/appointment: 559.278.2422 or cddssa@csufresno.edu.
