Congressmen Jim Costa of the 16th district and David Valadao of the 21st district will speak at the Gazarian Real Estate Center Agricultural Symposium from 10 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, in the Alice Peters Auditorium (Peters Business Building) at Fresno State. They will join Gary Serrato, general manager of the Fresno Irrigation District, in a discussion on water conservation. Stan Xavier, president of Correia-Xavier Inc., will speak on land value. They will address the 2016 Water Bill, the California Sustainable Groundwater Management Act and the increase of farm property value in the Fresno area.
