Richard Montoya of Culture Clash will host the Arte Americas 30th anniversary celebration of art, music and culture including Grupo Fénix from 6 to 10 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 30, at Plaza Paz (1630 Van Ness Ave.) as Hispanic Heritage Month continues with two Fresno State events off-campus this weekend. A community event, “Nights in the Plaza: Latin Connection,” will be from 7 to 10 p.m., Friday, Sept. 29, also at Arte Americas. The public is invited to enjoy food (available from food trucks), art galleries and live music to kick off the weekend anniversary celebration.
