Conflict Resolution Day Oct. 16: ‘Religion of Peace’ panel
Mediator Mentors will celebrate International Day of Conflict Resolution with a panel on the “Religion of Peace” from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, in the Alice Peters Auditorium in Peters Building 191. Panelists include Rabbi Rick Winner from the Temple Beth Israel, Jim Grant from the social justice ministry of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fresno and Irfan Ali, co-chair of the Interfaith Alliance of Central California. In conjunction with the International Day of Conflict Resolution, a peace exhibition is on display in the Diversity Lounge, on the second floor of the Henry Madden Library through the month of October. International Day of Conflict Resolution is sponsored by the College of Arts and Humanities, Mediator Mentors, the Bonner Family Foundation, the Ethics Center and Peace and Conflict Studies.
