The Fresno State Social Work Association student club will lead a march to raise awareness for immigration reform to include permanent legal status for Dreamers, temporary protected status families and immigrants from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, in Reedley. The public is invited to participate in the march, starting at 1686 E. Manning Ave. The student-based organization brings students from different cultural backgrounds together to work alongside Fresno State faculty and staff and members in the community. Its goal is to create and engage in community events to service members of the county and have an educational experience to make an impact in the lives of the students and the lives of community members, said Rosa Salmeron, club treasurer and campaign organizer.
