The Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Fresno presents the Armenian Culture and Heritage Celebration at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 24. The event, which celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Armenia, will be held in the Concert Hall of Fresno State. The celebration will feature a presentation from Dr. Sergio La Porta, poetry from “Zangatoun” Poetry Group, a dance performance by Lianna Gasparyan and vocal selections from Misak Isrealyan. Admission is free. Parking is available in Lot P1 near Maple and Shaw Ave. with the purchase of a daily parking permit.
