“Life After Life” by director Tamara Perkins follows the stories of Harrison, Noel and Chris as they return home from San Quentin State Prison. After spending most of their lives incarcerated, they are forced to reconcile their perception of themselves with a reality they are unprepared for. Post screening discussants are director Tamara Perkins, Dr. Deidre Hill-Valdivia and Noel Valdivia, Sr., who were featured in the film, and Project Rebound graduate and Fresno State Masters of Social Work student Arnold Trevino. Sponsors include Center for Creativity and the Arts, Project Rebound, Fresno State Criminology Department: Corrections Option and the Cross Cultural and Gender Center. The free screening is at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 14 in the Peters Education Center Auditorium, west of Save Mart Center in the Student Recreation Center Building. Parking is free after 4 p.m. on Fridays.
