CineCulture will present the film “Iqaluit” at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19. Director Benoît Pilon (via Skype) and Fresno State faculty Dr. Rose Marie Kuhn will host a discussion following the film. In the film, Carmen travels for the first time to Iqaluit, the capital of Canada’s newest, largest and northernmost territory. The film is presented in French and Inuktitut, with English subtitles.

The screening is sponsored by the French Program, the Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literature and L’Alliance Française de Fresno. The free screening will be held in the Peters Education Center Auditorium, west of Save Mart Center in the Student Recreation Center Building. Parking is free after 4 p.m. on Fridays.
