The “Cello Fresno Gala Concert” will take place at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Concert Hall. The performance represents the culmination of the three-day 2018 Cello Fresno Festival.
The concert will include a performance of Popper’s “Suite for Two Cellos,” performed by Dr. Thomas Loewenheim and Professor Emilio Colón. A variety of cello ensembles will perform throughout the evening and will include works by Kreisler, Rossini, Tansman, Villa-Lobos and Tchaikovsky’s powerful Pezzo Capriccioso featuring Loewenheim as soloist.
Tickets are $15 for general admission, $10 for seniors and employees, and $5 for students.
