Marketing fraternity wins national recognition

California State University, Fresno’s chapter of Pi Sigma Epsilon, the only nationally recognized professional co-educational sales and marketing fraternity, received national recognition by by winning the William H. Harris top chapter award.

The award recognizes chapters that excel in recruitment, programming, community involvement, regional and national communication, interchapter fraternalism and adherence to the organization’s principles.

Established in 1965 at Fresno State, the 30-member student organization successfully organized and participated in several events the past year.

They collaborated with McLane High School and radio station Q97 to promote awareness and involvement in extracurricular activities; Mitts for Kids, a softball tournament that supported athletic programs for underprivileged children; “Light the Night,” a walk that benefits the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society; and a donation drive for the California Food Bank.
