Open University, which allows individuals to take university classes on a space-available basis without going through the university admission process, is available in the summer at Fresno State.

Students who have not been admitted, have been academically disqualified and want to raise their GPA, or want to take a class or two for personal reasons can take advantage of this opportunity.

Registration is accepted by the Division of Continuing and Global Education on Thursday and Friday of the first week of each session only. Students must complete the Open University registration form and get the instructor's signature on the form before submitting it with payment of $185 per unit.
