The Homecoming and Family Weekend 2007 at Fresno State has been set for the Oct. 20 Bulldogs football game vs. San Jose State, as part of Oct. 15-20 Homecoming Week activities.

The university’s alumni and community friends are encouraged to make plans to join students, staff and faculty at the annual celebration.

Among the many events that occur during Homecoming Week is the Oct. 18 Top Dog Awards Gala, presented by the Fresno State Alumni Association. It will be held at the Save Mart Center. Ticket information is available at 559.278.2586.

Revival of the traditional Fresno State Homecoming Parade is in the works this year and a Bulldog pep rally is planned. An information workshop for alumni dependents on admission to the university also will be offered.

Traditional events include mini-bike races, Bulldog-spirit decorating contests for university offices and student booths, a breakfast presented by the Parents Association, Bulldog Boulevard and other student events throughout the week.
