Construction work to widen Chestnut Avenue to four lanes through the Fresno State campus is progressing. Chestnut Avenue is closed from Bullard to Shaw avenues.

Barstow Avenue is open for east-west traffic. Access to the Farm Market is available directly off of Barstow Avenue.

In order to install utilities, the intersection of Barstow and Chestnut Avenues will be closed during the evening – between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. – through July 23. Motorists should use Woodrow and Cedar avenues to access the north side of campus during these hours.

During the week of July 23-28, Bullard Avenue between Chestnut and Willow avenues will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
