An opinion piece by Fresno State faculty member Jill Fields about recent statutes outlawing public display of undergarments passed by several Louisiana towns was published in the Los Angeles Times today (Sept. 10). Fields is an associate professor of history and the author of the new book, "An Intimate Affair: Women, Lingerie and Sexuality." She will be signing books Saturday, Sept. 29, from 2-4 p.m. at Barnes & Noble in the Villagio shopping center in Fresno.
