Campus to participate in Make a Difference Day |
|
Fresno State students, staff and faculty are on a mission to help community neighbors by participating in Make a Difference Day on Oct. 27, dedicated to neighbors helping neighbors. Make a Difference Day, created by USA WEEKEND Magazine, is an annual event that last year drew 3 million volunteers to work on thousands of projects in hundreds of towns throughout the nation. This year's volunteer activities in the Fresno area will include book sorting for the Central Valley Book Bank, graffiti clean-up with the Fresno Police Department and landscape clean-up at the Discovery Center. These events will take place from 8 a.m. to noon.
