Fresno State President John D. Welty said he is proud of students who are achieving their dreams through higher education in the November edition of Imagine Fresno magazine.

With the holidays approaching, Welty was one of seven Fresno residents to share his sentiments in a story that ran under the headline “Giving Thanks.” Welty praised the university community for providing higher learning opportunities for all.

“I am thankful that so many students, from all walks of life, have made the most of those opportunities, then go out into the community and give to others,” he told the magazine.
