The 12th annual Red Wave Classic livestock prospect sale and show will be held Jan. 5 at the California State University, Fresno Animal Science Pavilion.

The event begins with educational programs at 11 a.m., followed by lunch at noon and the sale featuring steers and lambs, at 1 p.m.

The Red Wave Classic is sponsored by the Department of Animal Sciences and Agricultural Education in Fresno State’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology in cooperation with Farmers Best Feed, the sponsor.

The 15th annual Red Wave Classic Junior Livestock Show will be presented by Fresno State Feb. 9-10 at the Big Fresno Fair ground. The two events are organized by Fresno State agriculture students comprising the Red Wave Classic Committee.

The Animal Science Pavilion is located at 2708 E. Barstow, between Chestnut and Maple Avenues.
