The College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology at California State University, Fresno will host the 2008 Mid Winter State Finals and Field Day on Feb. 2.

The event will take place in the Agriculture Science building, VERC and Fruit Tree Orchard beginning with registration at 8 a.m. The awards ceremony will take place in the Animal Science Pavilion at 2 p.m.

FFA members will compete for state champion titles at the individual and team levels.
Organizers expect approximately 250 FFA members from across the state to participate in these career development events.

The College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology and the FFA Field Day Committee host over 20 state FFA finals contests annually. Approximately 2,500 students attend these events each year.
