Update: Alumnus Brad Lewis produces Oscar-winning 'Ratatouille'

After receiving a Golden Globe in January, Fresno State alumnus Brad Lewis' "Ratatouille" won an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.

"Ratatouille" received three Oscar nominations.

The award was presented during the prime-time presentation of the Oscars on Sunday, Feb. 24, in Hollywood.

Another Fresno State alumnus, Roy Christopher (1957 and '61), who has won nine Emmys for production design, was the designer of the multi-pillar set for the Oscar telecast. It was his 18th time designing the look of the Academy Awards show. Christopher has won seven Emmys and been nominated for Emmys 17 times for his Oscar productions.
