Improvements to the parking lot and adjacent areas of the Farm Market at California State University, Fresno will begin Wednesday, Feb. 27.

This work is part of the Chestnut Avenue widening project and the funding is coming from a state grant. Work includes a total tear out of existing asphalt areas to create a new and improved parking lot including better driveway approaches, product loading/unloading areas, and designated parking stalls for persons with disabilities. The work is expected to take two weeks, depending on weather.

During construction, parking for Farm Market customers and the Center for Irrigation Technology (CIT) will be in a temporary lot south of CIT. The Farm Market will be open during construction and pedestrian access to the building will be available.
