The concept of time will be discussed when Dr. Robert Levine, a psychologist and professor at California State University, Fresno, speaks at the March 3 meeting of Central Valley Cafe Scientifique.

The topic, "A Geography of Time," looks at the social psychology of time and how beliefs about time differ profoundly from culture to culture. Levine will discuss some of these differences and the consequences they may have for how we live our lives.

The meeting will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Lucy's Lair, 10063 N.
Maple Ave (northwest corner of Maple and Behymer). The main presentation will begin at 7, followed by discussion. Seating is limited.

Central Valley Cafe Scientifique meets the first Monday of each month to provide a forum for researchers from Fresno State and other organizations to engage in casual discussion of scientific topics with community members.
