Computer Science Week features guest speakers |

California State University, Fresno will commemorate Computer Science Week, April 21-25, with four guest speakers, including Dr. Dana Scott, winner of the Turing Award, the computer science equivalent of the Nobel Prize.
Scott, professor emeritus at Carnegie Mellon University, is teaching a graduate course at the University of California, Berkeley. He received his Bachelor’s degree in mathematics at UC Berkeley in 1954 and his Ph.D. in mathematics at Princeton in 1958. He has taught at the University of Chicago, Stanford, Amsterdam, Princeton, Oxford, Carnegie Mellon and Linz (Austria).
