DOG DAYS orientation sessions begin June 3 |

DOG DAYS Fall 2008,
orientation sessions for incoming students at California State
University, Fresno, begins June 3 and runs through July 30. DOG DAYS is
open to the 2,500 new freshmen and 1,900 transfer students who will
attend the university in the fall semester, their parents and guests.
Each day-long session presented by the Division of Student Affairs
provides opportunities for academic advising and registration
assistance. The dates scheduled are: June 3, 5, 10, 12, 16, 18, 21 and 24, and July 14, 16, 18, 22, 24, 28 and 30. Check-in begins at 7:15 a.m. at the Satellite Student Union with the program from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Specific dates for colleges
and schools are listed below. Academic advisers will be available to
discuss completion of general education and major academic requirements.
Faculty and student leaders answer questions and give insight into
campus life. A career services presentation, campus resource fair,
pre-loan counseling workshop, campus safety discussion and campus tours
also are offered.
Note: The university is no longer accepting applications for first time freshmen and transfer students for the fall, however, applications for the spring 2009 semester will be accepted beginning Aug. 1.
