Dr. Doug Hensler, dean of the
Craig School of Business at California State University, Fresno, has
accepted a position as dean of the W. Frank Barton School of Business at
Wichita State University, effective June 16.
Hensler announced his move to the Craig School faculty on Tuesday and
expressed his appreciation for their work.
"There are very many truly outstanding faculty and staff members in the
Craig School of Business. That is where the strengths of the Craig
School are, so I am sure that the school will continue on its path of
excellence,” he said.
“It has been my great privilege to serve those people and the
outstanding students that we see every year. I will miss them all very
much."
Hensler joined the Craig School as dean three years ago. Provost Jeri
Echeverria said that under his leadership, the faculty and staff have
accomplished a great deal.
“Initiatives like the Professor-in-Residence program, Craig School
Career Pathways and the Dr. Arnold and Dianne Gazarian Real Estate
Center will have lasting contributions to businesses and economic
development in the Central Valley,” said Echeverria.
