Latino Heritage Festival is Saturday, Sept. 6, at Fresno State

To kick off Hispanic Heritage Month, the Latino Heritage Festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, at California State University, Fresno.

The family-friendly celebration, expected to attract 25,000 people, will be held on the Maple Mall at Fresno State, south of the Satellite Student Union. It will feature food, music, arts and crafts, dancers, health and kids, education, health and fiesta zones. Campus tours also will be featured.

The event is sponsored by the Central California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Fresno State’s Central Valley Cultural Heritage Institute.

It is free and open to the public. Free parking is also available. No pets allowed.
