National FFA tour comes to Fresno State with tailgate Nov. 15

The National Future Farmers of America Red, White and Forever Blue College Tour hits California State University, Fresno on Saturday, Nov. 15, with a tailgate for students before the Bulldogs’ final football game of the year.

It will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at O’Neill Park, at the corner of Woodrow and Barstow avenues, prior to the 2 p.m. Fresno State vs. New Mexico State football game.

Partnering with Toyota and the College of Agriculture Science and Technology at Fresno State, the FFA tour travels across the country to collegiate football events promoting networking between agriculture students, alumni and FFA members.

FFA and the College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology at Fresno State are collaborating to bring local FFA members together to explore what Fresno State and the College of Agriculture Sciences and Technology have to offer to potential future students.

The tailgate will provide students free food prepared by the Fresno State Meat Sciences Club, giveaways, prizes and activities such as Nintendo Wii Sports.
