Gazarian Real Estate Center to host seminar Dec. 4

Mark Boud, who founded Irvine-based Real Estate Economics, will discuss central San Joaquin Valley economic and housing market trends and opportunities at a seminar Dec. 4 sponsored by the Arnold and Dianne Gazarian Real Estate Center at California State University, Fresno.

Boud will offer 2-month and 5-year forecasts of the regional economy, housing market and socio-economic/demographic characteristics, including the credit crisis, market disruption and housing characteristics likely to be most successful in the next cycle.

Since graduating from Brigham Young University with a degree in economics, Boud has been involved in real estate market analysis in the western United States and in Mexico.

His expertise is sought by the residential builders, developers and financial institutions and his analysis and modeled forecasts are quoted in such publications as USA Today and the Wall Street Journal.

His presentation is scheduled 8:15-10 a.m. in the University Business Center, part of the Craig School of Business at Fresno State.

There is no charge, but registration is required in advance or the morning of the event, beginning at 8.

The event is a service of the Gazarian Real Estate Center to benefit the Valley real estate community and is open to the public.
