Mark
Boud, who founded Irvine-based Real Estate Economics, will discuss
central San Joaquin Valley economic and housing market trends and
opportunities at a seminar Dec. 4 sponsored by the Arnold and Dianne
Gazarian Real Estate Center at California State University, Fresno.
Boud will offer 2-month
and 5-year forecasts of the regional economy, housing market and
socio-economic/demographic characteristics, including the credit crisis,
market disruption and housing characteristics likely to be most
successful in the next cycle.
Since graduating from
Brigham Young University with a degree in economics, Boud has been
involved in real estate market analysis in the western United States and
in Mexico.
His expertise is sought
by the residential builders, developers and financial institutions and
his analysis and modeled forecasts are quoted in such publications as
USA Today and the Wall Street Journal.
His presentation is
scheduled 8:15-10 a.m. in the University Business Center, part of the
Craig School of Business at Fresno State.
There is no charge, but
registration is required in advance or the morning of the event,
beginning at 8.
The event is a service
of the Gazarian Real Estate Center to benefit the Valley real estate
community and is open to the public.
