Soccer team wins WAC, faces UCLA in tournament |

Fresno State soccer advanced to the NCAA Tournament after beating Utah State, 2-1, in double overtime on Nov. 9. The `Dogs last won the title of WAC Tournament Champions in 2005. The team’s postseason run continued on Friday, Nov. 14, as the Bulldogs faced No. 1 seed UCLA at 5:30 p.m. This is the third time the Bulldogs have advanced to the first round of the NCAA Tournament. However, the soccer run at the NCAA title tournament was cut short after No. 1 seed UCLA beat the `Dogs 5-0. The Bulldogs advanced to the NCAA Tournament after Elora Martinez scored a game winning goal in double overtime against Utah State at the WAC Tournament. The `Dogs ended the season 11-9-2.
