Water policy debate to be broadcast twice Feb. 9

The water policy debate at California State University, Fresno on Feb. 4 that drew a capacity crowd of nearly 700 will be broadcast on Comcast Channel 96 at 6 and 8:40 p.m. on Monday, Feb 9.

The 2-hour 40-minute show will be re-broadcast immediately following the first showing
 

Students from the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism filmed the debate for the broadcast, which includes an audience question/answer segment at the end.
 

The debate was sponsored by Fresno State’s Political Science Student Association and the Political Science Department.
 

Comcast 96 is a partnership between Fresno State, the Fresno Unified School District, Fresno Pacific University, Fresno City College and the Comcast Cable Company to provide a dedicated local channel for airing programs specifically produced by member institutions of that coalition.
