The last day for graduate and returning students to apply for admission for the fall 2009 semester at California State University, Fresno is Wednesday, April 1.

Applications must be submitted online by 11:59 p.m. to be considered.

The state's fiscal crisis has forced Fresno State to limit space for new students this fall.

The university is closed to first-time freshmen and new transfer applicants. A deadline for transfer students (upper-division students at other colleges) and lower-division students in nursing and engineering wishing to transfer to Fresno State in fall 2009 was moved up six weeks to Feb. 15.

For the April 1 deadline, returning students and applicants to graduate or credential programs for the fall 2009 semester may submit their application online at www.csumentor.edu.
