Hypnotic Intoxication, a
program that teaches alcohol awareness through hypnosis, will be
presented at California State University, Fresno at 7 p.m. Wednesday,
March 18, in the Satellite Student Union (2485 E. San Ramon Ave. at
Maple Avenue).
Hypnotist Keith Karkut will invite volunteers from the audience to be
hypnotized into believing they are under the influence of alcohol. His
goal is to show how alcohol can affect the lives of college students and
how a situation involving alcohol can quickly go wrong.
Karkut has been practicing hypnosis for over 19 years. He has presented
at more than 35 universities and worked with corporations and marketing
companies.
The event, sponsored by USU Productions, is open to the public. Tickets
are $3 for Fresno State students with a valid ID and $5 for general
admission.
