PR students showcase excellence with ‘Best in Show’

The Bulldog Walk – featuring pet bulldogs from around the community -- will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on April 13-14 in the Free Speech Area at California State University, Fresno to help raise awareness and promote the “Bulldogs: Best in Show” academic excellence campaign that was launched this week.

The campaign is sponsored by the Office of the Provost and is designed to celebrate and showcase the university’s academic excellence. The campaign was created and is being coordinated by senior public relations students in the Mass Communication and Journalism Department.

Several campaign activities are planned in addition to the Bulldog Walk, such as the College/Department Homepage Contest and the “Best in Show” Video Contest

The Bulldog Walk will encourage students and faculty to participate in the campaign while simultaneously promoting the “Best in Show Awards.” Pet bulldogs from around the community will be accompanied by their owners to parade in and around the Free Speech Area (located northeast of the new Henry Madden Library) promoting the campaign.
