A team of three students from
the Craig School of Business at California State University, Fresno won
second place in the Pacific West Regional Human Resource Management
Games (HR Games) held at Boise State on April 4.
Aaron Meyers, Kristen Fragoza and Pablo Ruiz de Chavez were ranked
second after a loss in the finals to CSU Stanislaus.
The other Fresno State team comprising students Melissa Freeman, Tasha
Latimer and Kelly Roberts, placed seventh.
The HR Games uses a “Jeopardy” style format in which students’ knowledge
in all areas of management practices, employee selection, labor and
employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and development,
and safety and health is tested.
The Craig School of Business HR Games teams are supported by the
Business Associates of the Craig School of Business; Human Resources
Association of Central California; Associated Students of California
State University, Fresno; Society of Human Resource Management Student
Chapter.
