The New Horizons Band at California State University, Fresno will perform a spring concert at 7:30 p.m. tonight (May 6) at the Wahlberg Recital Hall in the Music Building, Room 183.

The band, conducted by Archie Rader and John Webster, is comprised of Fresno State faculty, staff and community members over the age of 50. New Horizons welcomes musicians who are both learning and advanced.

The band meets once a week for a semester to practice for a final performance at the end. The concert is free and open to the public. Parking will be available in Lot C.

New Horizons Band, Fresno was established as part of the New Horizons Band Music Organization, which has orchestras in Canada, Australia and the United States.

The concert is sponsored by the Division of Continuing and Global Education at Fresno State.
