Campus galleries display student and faculty art

Student and faculty art, ranging from paintings to sculptures, is on display in three different galleries at California State University, Fresno.

The Annual Studio Arts Graduating Seniors Art Exhibition continues through May 18 in the Conley Gallery, located in the Phebe Conley Art Building. The exhibition is entitled "Arts in Motion."

A reception for the show will be Thursday, May 7, at 5 p.m. in the gallery. The gallery operates from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday.

The Dean's Gallery, located in the Music Building Room 186, is featuring sculptural works by students studying under professor Ed Gillum. The art will be showcased in the gallery throughout the summer. The gallery hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The University Restaurant also is featuring student artwork from professor Nick Potter's painting class. The artwork will remain on display through the summer. The exhibition is available 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Monday-Friday.
