The Bulldog Marching Band at California State University, Fresno will set up two fireworks booths in Fresno and Clovis to raise money for the 2009-10 school year.

Band members will operate the booths from 9 a.m. until dark starting Wednesday, July 1, through Saturday, July 4, at these locations:

• Clovis: Ashlan and Clovis avenues in the 7-Eleven parking lot

• Fresno: McKinley at Brawley Avenue west of Highway 99

“Selling fireworks is something we do annually but this year, with budget constraints, it is extremely important to raise money for the band so that we are able to provide for our students and cover all costs,” said Tim Anderson, Bulldog Marching Band director.

The band will hold its annual band camp August 17-21.
