Cineculture season begins Sept. 4 |
|
The Cineculture Club at California State University, Fresno begins its fall 2009 season of provocative films on Sept. 4 with “Kung Fu Hustle,” followed by discussion led by theater professor Ed EmanuEl. All films in the series will be screened at 5:30 p.m. in McLane Hall, Room 121. The presentations are free and are open to the public. “Kung Fu Hustle” is an award-winning action crime film about gangs and set in the 1940s in Canton. Programs with Fresno FilmWorks are scheduled the second Friday of each month at the Tower Theatre in central Fresno. Also on the Cineculture fall schedule:
