Students to attend national ag conference |
|
Two California State University, Fresno agriculture students will attend the Agriculture Future of America (AFA) Leaders Conference Nov. 5-8 in Kansas City, Mo. Agriculture seniors Aimee Meidinger and Jackie Mundt were selected to join more than 500 collegians from across the country at the conference. Both won sponsorships for the conference from Dow AgroSciences. During the four-day program, students will hear from corporate leaders and industry experts as they discuss critical issues facing the next generation of agricultural leaders. “The AFA Leaders Conference is a personal and professional development experience designed for college men and women who have a high interest in becoming a leader in the agriculture industry,” said Russ Weathers, AFA president and CEO.
