International Education Week celebrated Nov. 15-20 |
|
California State University, Fresno’s 26th annual
International Education Week will present
events Nov. 15-20 to inform students about summer programs and other
opportunities to study in Japan, Spain, the United Kingdom, China,
Mexico, Costa Rica or Chile.
The
schedule begins with International Culture Night from 7 to 9 p.m. Nov.
15 at the Satellite Student Union.
The
week’s other activities include:
Nov. 16
–
10
a.m., University Business Center Room 194, International Business
Program panel discussion on culture in business negotiations and a
student perspective on the value of studying abroad; noon, University
Student Union (USU) Room 311 student panel discussing studying in
London.
Nov. 17
–
12:30 p.m., USU Room 309, student panel discussion of study in Spain; 2
p.m., Henry Madden Library Studio 2, International Coffee Hour
presentation on Nepal; 5:30 p.m., USU Room 312, informational meeting on
a summer 2010 agricultural study tour to China.
Nov. 18
–
11:30 a.m. , Multicultural Culinary Repast in Room 101 of Engineering
West; 4 p.m., Kremen School of Education and
Human Development Atrium Room 54, information on summer 2010 study tour
to Cuernavaca, Mexico.
Nov. 19
–
Noon, Family and Food Sciences Building Room 112,
student panel on studying in Japan; 3-5 p.m., Engineering East Patio,
Multicultural Celebration.
Nov. 20 –
8
a.m., Vintage Room, International Faculty Breakfast; noon, USU Room 308,
student panel on studying in Chile and Costa Rica.
