Los Danzantes’ Christmas in Mexico performance is Dec. 5

Christmas in Mexico, the 22nd annual holiday concert of Mexican folkloric dance at California State University,

Fresno, will be held from 3-6 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Satellite Student Union. The show will feature Fresno State’s and the Chicano and the Latin American Studies Beginning Folklórico Dance

Class, Los Danzantes de Aztlán-Juvenil, plus folklórico troupes from Clovis, Central and Buchanan high schools. The Clovis High Marimba opens with pre-performance music. Admission is $5 in advance (available at the Department of Chicano and Latin American Studies office in Social

Sciences Building Room 211) or $8 at the door. The concert is sponsored by Los Danzantes de Aztlán and the department of Chicano and Latin American Studies

and underwritten by an Instructionally Related Activities grant from Associated Students Inc. The Satellite Student Union is at Maple and San Ramon avenues, south of Barstow Avenue. For more information, contact Dr. Victor Torres at 559.278.4115.
